Saving lives and the environment one accident at a time.
This tool cuts floor boards, firewalls, seat frames, wind shields, steering columns, nader pins and any other material on a vehicle to free the victims without sparks or heat that might ignite any type of fuel. The HART uses high pressure water mixed with an abrasive to cut these materials. It is powered by compressed air that is supplied from air bottles that are on the rescue vehicles already. If your rescue unit does not have the air bottles we will supply them. There is no electricity needed.
Two people operate HART : 1 cutting with the tip, 1 regulating the abrasive.
The total weight is approx. 150 lb. This tool is totally enviromentaly friendly, self contained, low maintenance, and low replacement parts cost. The extrication time will be cut dramatically, saving more lives. It is all about saving lives.
To start this tool, all that has to be done is to open the valve on the air bottle which gets the cylinders working in a forward stroke and backwards stroke to create a pump producing a very high flow of water.
Next introduce the abrasive to the high volume of water and start cutting. The cutting tip is the size of a pencil. That and a high pressure hose 3/4" O.D. is all that will be taken into the crash vehicle.
Another rescue personnel will be required to regulate the abrasive outside the crash vehicle.
The total size of the tool is 3' long 12" wide and only 21" high. The total weight is approx. 150 lb.
